US Congress has made good with whistleblower Edward Snowden by passing the USA Freedom Act ending the bulk collection of American phone records, but admits their friendship is still on ice.
“We used to be tight, we knew all of each other’s secrets, but he stabbed us in the back and blurted out our contempt for the American citizen,” US Congress said.
US Congress has revealed they would go and have a beer with Snowden if it was with a large group, but at this stage think it would be too awkward for a one-on-one drinking session.
“We occasionally text each other when the situation arises, or comment on each other’s Facebook posts, but we would never call each other to hang,” the US Congress said.
US Congress stated that Snowden’s moral inflexibility and inability to “let s*** slide” was incredibly irritating and he would have to loosen up before the relationship was fully restored.
