The number of foreigners in July angry about other foreigners coming to Japan hit an all-time record, further inflamed by a growing influx of Chinese shoppers.

The Japan National Tourism Organization says an estimated 1.8 million foreign nationals were furious more gaijin were coming into the country, up 5.6 percent from a year earlier.

“They need to get the hell out of my country,” says 2-years-a-gaijin Ashlee Lloyd.

Officials say despite the overall increase in resentment, some tourists apparently decided not to come to Japan after torrential rain caused disasters in the Kansai region.

“Thank God for that,” says 4-years-a-gaijin Luke Huckleby.
