Japan did not experience a typhoon, flooding, earthquake, volcanic eruption, or severe heatwave today, although it still is only 11 a.m.
Many people were stunned by the news with residents enjoying a peaceful autumn day – autumn is the third season of the year, out of a total of four seasons.
There was one report of an earthquake in Minato Ward, Tokyo, but that was just a truck going past.
One local experienced a natural disaster of his own missing a packet of free tissues on his way to work, but the incident didn’t attract any media coverage.
“I thought it was just a flier, but they were tissues,” said 45-year-old Keisuke Hamada.
At press time, there were still no reports of natural disasters, yet.
More to come.
