A man flying on British Airways flight BA 4609 today has culturally appropriated a woman back to his home country.
Jimmy Handscomb met his now wife in Roppongi back in the summer of 2017.
“It seems like a year ago now,” says Jimmy.
Local authorities have reported the incident was the third cultural appropriation of one of their women this week.
“It’s scandalous that foreigners are engaging in cultural appropriation,” says one Japanese government official.
“We are in danger of losing all of our cooks and cleaners.”
Handscomb says it is not “cultural appropriation, it is cultural appreciation”.
“I really appreciate it when I come home to a nice warm dinner and a back rub.”
