A foreigner living in Gaikoku has had their feelings severely damaged this week by another foreigner audacious enough to criticize Japan.
“How dare that investigative journalist Jake Adelstein call out problems in Japanese society, he has no right to do that,” 39-year-old weeaboo @JordenDunst wrote on Twitter.
Jorden feels it is important to sweep any social injustices under the rug so he can maintain the fantasy of his own personal love affair with Japan.
Jorden, who sees Japan as if it is his “girlfriend”, often spends hours crying after reading comments critical of Japan.
“I sometimes use up a whole box of Hello Kitty tissues,” says @JordenDunst.
“It’s tough being in a long-distance relationship.”
