The recently enthroned Emperor of Japan has embraced 21st century technology and launched a new Twitter account under the handle name @EmperorNaruhit2.
@EmperorNaruhito was already taken.
Emperor Naruhito told reporters he is hopeful the Sun Goddess Amaterasu will follow him back.
“I’m also hoping Taylor Swift will show me a bit of love,” said Emperor Naruhito.
Emperor Naruhito already has over 1 million people following a picture of his fax machine on Instagram.
